General Practice Appointments
Health New Lynn is open for General Practice Appointments - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
To make an appointment to see a doctor or nurse please call us on 09 827 8888, or register for Health 365 to make appointments through our online portal. See below for more information on how to register.
If your regular doctor is away or unavailable you can see any of our doctors. If you are not sure who you should see, our practice nurses will be happy to advise you.
Standard appointments are for 15 minutes including clinical note writing and referrals. If you feel that you may need longer or have more to discuss, then please book a double appointment. There is an additional charge for longer appointments.
If this is the first time you will be visiting us, you will need to book a 30 minute appointment. This is in order that we can collect all the necessary information, as well as get an idea about your medical background. Please bring with you any relevant medical documents that you may have (for example, recent hospital discharge summary) and a list of all medications that you take.
Please Note: If you are unable to attend your appointment, please cancel it either through the portal or by contacting the practice on (09) 827 8888. Failure to attend may incur a cancellation fee.
Online Portal - Health 365
As a special introductory offer our enrolled patients over 16 have free access to our Patient Portal, Health 365.
A patient portal is an easy, safe and convenient way for you to manage more of your own health care.
Health New Lynn has just introduced the Health 365 patient portal which you can use to book appointments with your GP or nurse, access your immunisation records and check lab results.
With a secure password, you can log in to your patient portal and manage it in your own time – 24 hours a day, seven days a week – from wherever you happen to be.
Register for Health 365
To register and start using Health 365 simply complete a registration form - click here to download or request a form from our receptionists, and drop it in to the practice with your photo ID.
The reception team will then register your details and you will receive a confirmation email with your username and a temporary password which will need to be changed to something secure.
